With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen J. (Mallory) Garrett of Overland Park, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, E. I. Mallory (Pete) and Vivian M. Mallory (Seela). She is survived by: her sons, J. Kyle (Jessica Garrett), Kevin R. Garrett of Overland Park and Alan D. (Joyce Garrett); her sister Janice (Mallory); her brother-in-law Harry Pell of Green Valley, Arizona; and her grandchildren, Mallory M. Burnham (Garrett) of Shawnee, Aidan J. Garrett of Olathe, Sarah M. Rose of Kansas City, Abbie N. Garrett of Kansas City, Sydney K. Garrett of Overland Park, Steven Garrett of Buford, Sean Garrett of Hoschton, Austin Garrett of Gainesville, Robert Callaway of Tampa and Amanda Burton of Carrollton, Georgia. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Life Lutheran Church (3105 W 135th St, Leawood, KS 66224).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Leawood, Kansas.
