It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Alan Towner in Overland Park, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on May 7, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Mark Alan may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Alwyn and Harriet Audrey Towner (Rothschild). He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Ann Towner (Highland) of Overland Park; his son Matthew Adam Towner; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Elizabeth Bush of Columbus, Georgia; and his daughter Michelle Adrienne Towner of Overland Park.

Mark donated his body to the University of Kansas Medical Center for Research.
