He is survived by: his wife Joan Edwards of Overland Park; his sons, Michael Edwards Jr. of Las Vegas and Williams Edwards of Overland Park, KS; his stepchildren, Jimmy Strahle of DeSoto, KS and Jennifer Strahle of San Diego, CA.; and his grandchildren, Mahaya Strahle of Lawrence, KS, Stone Strahle of Eudora, KS and Cara Phelan of San Diego, CA..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Legacy Christian Church (10150 Antioch Rd, Overland Park, KS 66212). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
