He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael William Boland and Kathlyn Garnet Woods; his wife Susan; his nieces, Betty Burton of Paris and Gail Rich of Bonner Springs; his nephew Gary Rich of Lenexa; his sister Mary "Sis" Rich; and his stepchildren, Tracy and Steve.
