She was predeceased by: her parents, Calahan Wesley and Hazel Ophelia McGinnis (Myers); her husband Vernon Burklund; and her siblings, Nancy McGinnis, Melba McGinnis, Leon McGinnis, Bernice Erickson and Edward McGinnis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Reed (Charles) of Azle, TX, Linda Knudson of Overland Park and Janis Burklund of Dallas; her grandchildren, Cyndi St (Greg), Chuck Reed (Lisa), Chris Dixon (DeWayne), Keri Cardenas (Theo Nesland) and Kyle Cardenas; her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Ashley, Austin, Chelsee, Ashlee, Meagan, Macee, Baylie, Laura, Braeden, Auguste and Phoenix; and her great great grandchildren, Gavin, Conner, Kevvon, Elliee, Emerson, Witten, Brody, Karlie, Kennedy, Lindsi, Evan, Rylee, Elizabeth, Colton and Kinslee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home (303 S Broadway St, Riley, KS 66531). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Olsburg Lutheran Church (104 N First St, Olsburg, KS 66520). A burial was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at the Olsburg Cemetery (4050 KS-16, Olsburg, KS 66520).
Memorials may be made to the Olsburg Lutheran Church and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
