It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred McAuliffe of Overland Park, Kansas, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Boylan and Deborah Boylan; her husband Lawrence McAuliffe of Overland Park, KS; her children, Patricia Akright (Ray) of Overland Park, KS and Thomas McAuliffe of Hartford, CT; her sister Margaret McElligott; and her brothers-in-law, William (Dorothy), Joseph (Imogene), John, Thomas and Bishop Michael Francis McAuliffe.
She is survived by: her son Larry (Mary McAuliffe) of Overland Park, KS; her daughter-in-law Pat Fitzgerald of Hartford, CT; her grandchildren, Kimberly Rippe (Christophe) of Olathe, KS, Christy, Brian, Michael McAuliffe of Kansas City, KS, Sean and Katie McAuliffe of Hartford, CT; and her great grandchildren, Kieran, Kara and Kade of Olathe, KS. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cure of Ars Catholic Church (9401 Mission Rd, Leawood, KS 66206). A Mass was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location.
