He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Mehring and June Mehring (Nieland) of Carrington, ND.. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Arnston; his children, Nicole Schmidt (Zachary) of Springfield, VA, Paul Mehring (Leigh) of Elgin, SC, Stephanie Thedinger (Tyson) of Overland Park, KS and Michael Mehring (Laura) of Olathe, KS; his grandchildren, Henry Schmidt, Elise Thedinger, Evelyn Schmidt, Emory Thedinger, Greta Thedinger, Robert Thedinger, Ingrid Thedinger, Macks Mehring and Wesley Mehring; his brothers, Mitch Mehring (Jane) of Humble, TX, Matt Mehring of Minneapolis, MN and Mason Mehring (Lori) of Fargo, ND; and his sister-in-law Sona Mehring of Egan, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
