He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Burns and Ruth Burns (Turner). He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pretty Pat" Burns (Romo); his children, Meghan (Eric Thomas) and Madison Burns; his grandson Owen Patrick Thomas; and his siblings, Mike Burns, Jane Burazer and Barbara Newberry. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their children.
