He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene A. DiVilbiss and Pauline DiVilbiss (Wax); his former wife Loretta Mae DiVilbiss; his stepson David Kirk; and his grandson Tyler Kirk.
He is survived by: his brother Dan Kirk; his wife Regina DiVilbiss; his children, Greg DiVilbiss (Kelly), Jana Dishman (Jim) and Alison Gilpin; and his stepchildren, Gary Kirk (Kim), Lynne Eaton (David) and Dan Kirk. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one sibling.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
