Phillip C. Ruttan Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip C. Ruttan Sr. of Overland Park, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Kansas, who passed away on December 8, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phillip C. Ruttan Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jerilyn Ruttan; his parents, Lloyd Ruttan and Dixie Ruttan; and his sister Rebecca Gregory. He is survived by: his children, Phillip (Jeanine Ruttan), Melissa Ruttan (Mary DiGirlamo) and David (Kim Ruttan); his grandchildren, Billy Ruttan, Alyssa Ruttan, Madyson Ruttan, Carleton Ruttan, Alexander DiGirlamo, Wyatt DiGirlamo, Rosemary DiGirlamo, Ezra Shockey and Dylan Ruttan (DJ); his great grandchildren, Sutton Ingram and Sadie Ingram; and his sisters, Susan Ball (Sue) and Carolyn (John Sawka). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel & Memorial Gardens (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
