He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Jane Shannon and Clarence Shannon; his brother G. David Shannon; and his grandmother Irma J. Waddell. He is survived by: his wife Karen S. Rashid Hindley Shannon; his children, Stacy Johnson (David), Michael Shannon (Dee Dee), Sean Shannon and Paul Hindley (Courtney); his siblings, Deborah Shannon of Harrisonville, MO, Paul Timothy Shannon of Big Springs, NE and Susie Schmidt (Terry Schmidt) of Aurora, CO; and his grandchildren, Bryce Johnson, Hailey Johnson, Micayla Pierce-Thomas, Dakota Shannon, Hudson Shannon, Taylor Hindley, Harper Hindley and Emerson Hindley. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
