He was predeceased by: his parents, Larkin Scott and Lorene Scott; his wife Doris Hampton; and his daughter Jennifer. He is survived by: his daughter Martha Thomas (David); his sister Sandra Holscher; his grandchildren, Ryan Thomas and Shannon Lingenfelter (Joe); and his great grandchild Sloane Lingenfelter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws.
