Rita C. Schwarz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita C. Schwarz of Overland Park, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Rita shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rita farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Maas and Mary Maas; her husband Richard Schwarz; and her grandson Brooks Schwarz. She is survived by: her children, Joe (Jeannine), Mike (Lisa), Bob (Lyn), Jim (Lisa) and Beth Balint (Tom). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (11300 W 103rd St, Overland Park, KS 66214, USA). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
The family requests no flowers and suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
