He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Gwin and Beatrice Elfreda Corder (Trued); his brother Gary; his sister-in-law Kay Melewski; and his nephew Matt Wolcott.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Corder of Leawood; his daughter Mindy (Rhett); his grandchildren, Adalie, Alexa and Gannon Goy of Malvern, Iowa; his brother Robert Corder (Nancy); his sister-in-law Jane Franek; his nieces and nephews, Michele, Kurt Taylor, Jeff, Liz Corder, Keith, Jessica Corder, Christy Witt, Pierre Floriano, Bryan and Suzanne Witt; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jeffrey Taylor, Ashley and Jason McCarty; his nieces and nephews, Brandi, Kendall Kile, Nick, Amy Corder, Kirstyn, Fede Castagnini, Isabella Corder, Gabriella Corder and Luciana Corder; his sister-in-law Cheri Wolcott (Chris); his nieces, Kim Wolcott and Melissa Wind (Paul); his great-nephew Austin; his brother-in-law Dr. Fred Smardo (Holly); his niece Dr. Carissa Sherwood (Jared); his nephew Dr. Craig Smardo; his brother-in-law Bill Melewski (Shelley) of Kansas City; McKenna. He is also survived by many other relatives, and friends.
The family requests no flowers, but memorial contributions can be made in his honor to Bethany Lutheran Church.
