He is survived by: his grandchildren, Henry and Ruby; his daughter Kasey Hammeke (Adam Hammeke); his brothers, Dennis Pieper (Lisa Pieper) and Les Pieper (Diane Pieper); and his sister-in-law Louise Pieper. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Overland Park (Overland Park, KS).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those who wish to honor Roy's memory to spend time outdoors, share a favorite story, put on some music, and make someone laugh.
