With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sam M. Gottlieb of Overland Park, Kansas, who passed away on July 3, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Pearl Rosen Gottlieb; his parents, Louis Gottlieb and Mary Gottlieb (Kaplan); and his sisters, Goldene Rydell and Esther Bitner.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Levin (Buddy), Jerrold Gottlieb (Gail), Sandra Zelzer and Jody Ervin (Dennis); his grandchildren, Scott Levin (Debra), Amy Young (Robby), Aaron Gottlieb (Amber), Robyn Colvin (Mike), David Gottlieb (Becky), Ellie Miller, Cara Freed (Chad), Chad Bayzman, Bradley Cotlar, Andrew Cotlar and Alyson Dieker (Joseph); his great grandchildren, Morgan (Angie Cochran), Nicole, Zachary Young, Jordan Levin, Emily, Ezra Gottlieb, Macy Colvin, Parker Freed, Mattix, Easton, Taylor, Brianna Cotlar and Thomas Dieker; and his great great grandchildren, Khloe, Brayden and Hudson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Jewish Family Services Food Pantry or a charity of one's choice.
