It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Mae Feightner of Overland Park, Kansas, born in Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Chuck. She is survived by: her sister Marie Stadel Umscheid; her children, Sharon Monaco (Larry), Linda Heinrich (Forrest) and Gregg Feightner (Karey); and her grandchildren, Jessica Mendoza (Jon), Jenifer Bahl (Jeff), Julie Pelcak (Mark), Nick Feightner (Kathryn), Carrie Boeding (Chris), Andrew Monaco (Elissa), Brooke Amalfitano (Eric), Paula Monaco and Samantha Hartenstein (Adam). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel & Memorial Gardens (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at 12070 S Strang Line Rd, Olathe, KS 66062.
