She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Gugh and Bernadine Gugh (Mayes); and her husband Marvin Leroy Mays. She is also survived by her loving neighbors and friends.

A graveside service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Hillsdale Cemetery.
