She is survived by: her husband Gene; her children, Bruce Swanson (Lisa) of Tucson, Becky Venema (Todd) of Oakwood and Mark Swanson (D'ette) of Overland Park; her grandchildren, Riley, Karina Swanson, Sofia, Peter, Molly, Micah Venema, Teegan, Caden and Brenden Swanson; and her sister Amy Putnam (Glenn) of Las Cruces.
