We bid farewell to Wayne Mahon of Overland Park, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 28, 2025 at the age of 87. Wayne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Mahon and Generose Mahon (Boehm); and his wife Rose Mahon (Werner). He is survived by: his children, Sandy Schnieders (Russ) and Scott (Angie); his brothers, Jim Mahon (Emily) and Arlan Mahon (Vickie); his grandchildren, Amanda Schnieders, Blake Schnieders, Hunter Mahon (Brittney) and Courtney Clapp (Adam); and his great grandchildren, Vivian Clapp, Cecilia Clapp and Charlotte Mahon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org/donate, a cause that was especially meaningful to Wayne over the years. They may also be made to the Cathedral of St. Joseph.
