It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Cecil Tooley of Overland Park, Kansas, born in Armstrong, Missouri, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Lee Tooley Ganaway and Rev. Cecil Tooley; his siblings, Curtis Ray Tooley, Chester Ganaway, Myrtle Canton, Verna McKee and Ruby Mayfield; his sons, Jyrone Smith and Larry Boone; and his son-in-law Mark Antwine.
He is survived by: his children, Cecil Tooley (Angela) of Raytown, Harold Tooley (Eunice) of Lee's Summit, Tyrone Smith (Chantel) of Raytown, MO, Mary Jones of Sugar Creek, Marlyn Williams (Ray) of Omaha, Phyllis Smith of Omaha, Quincelia "Gail" McCuiston (Frank) of Blue Springs and Renetta Antwine of Independence; his siblings, Genelle Hawkins of Columbia, MO, Devolia Eubanks of Columbia, MO, Delbert Ganaway (Joyce) of Slater, MO, Lynn Ganaway of Boonville, MO and Glenn Ganaway (Janet) of Broken Arrow, OK; and his close friend Ella Jackson of Kansas City, Missouri.. He is also survived by 28 grandkids, and a host of great grandkids.
