He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Farris and Reva Farris (Hunter); his wife Patricia June Smith; and his siblings, George Farris, Anita Tidwell and Ronnie Farris.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patty Mugler, Rae Guthrie (Larry) and Lori Niceley (Richard Parks). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oxford Funeral Service (104 N Sumner Ave, Oxford, KS 67119). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oxford Christian Church (120 W Clark St, Oxford, KS 67119). A burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at the Geuda Springs Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Dale's name may be made to the Oxford Christian Church; donations may be left in the care of the funeral home.
