He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Raymond Lawrence and Marian Louise Gorden Pentlin; and his sisters, Mary Fitzpatrick of Kansas, Carole Hale of Kansas, Donna Bateman of Kansas and Gloria Ray of Kansas. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews as he was a very loving uncle.
