She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry E. Ohlde and Emilie E. Ohlde (Jording); her husband Elmer C. Heitman of John's Lutheran Church; her daughter Linda Ruhnke; her son-in-law Rev. Frederick Ruhnke; her siblings, LaVera (Kenneth Olson) and Raymond (Gladys Ohlde); her parents-in-law, William and Martha Heitman (Meier); and her siblings-in-law, Edna (Howard Olsen), Robert (Gretchen Heitman), LaVern (Dora Heitman) and Wilbur (Hilda Heitman).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Heitman (Sharon) of Auburn, KS, Dinah Rodehorst (Richard) of Downs, KS and Donald Heitman (Tammi) of Palmer, KS.; her grandchildren, John Ruhnke (Lindsay), Marcus Ruhnke (Danielle), Jason Heitman, Aaron Rodehorst (Beth), Ethan Rodehorst (Kelsey), Chelcie Heitman and Trevor Heitman (Carrie); and her great grandchildren, Robert, Amy, Margaret Ruhnke, Lucy, Tatum, Emerson, Ruby Ruhnke, Isabel, Charlotte, William Rodehorst, Murphy Jade Rodehorst, Carlie, Leo and Emma Heitman.
A memorial fund is established to The Lutheran Women Missionary League, Kansas District and St. John's Lutheran Church, Palmer, KS.
