With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald McBroom of Paola, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Donald leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parent Lourrine (Linden); his wife Sherri; his daughter Cindy Lou Ramirez; and his brother Homer McBroom. He is survived by: his sister Jeannine Blackwell; his daughters, Tammy Dodderidge (John) and Shannon McBroom (Berry Davis); and his stepdaughter Vera Higgenbotham. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
