She was predeceased by: her mother Linda Lou Thorn (Heinze); and her grandparents, Betty and Virgil Lyons. She is survived by: her father Roger Austin of Wellsville; her husband Theodore "Buster" Wilson; her son Derick Michael Wilson (Megan Woods); her grandson Daxtyn Wilson; her daughter Katelyn Elizabeth Wilson (Daniel); her grandsons, Dawson and Broly; her brothers, Gary Gerdes of Ottawa and Timmy Gerdes of Topeka; her parents-in-law, Carl and Faye Wilson of Cadmus; and her siblings-in-law, Kathern Wilson (Hassan Izzo) of Wichita, KS and Jake Wilson (Sheila) of Paola. She is also survived by several aunts and many cousins.
