She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis George and Mary E Scherman (Miller); her son Bradley Alan; her husband Harold; and her brother Bob.

She is survived by : her son Kirk E. As; her daughters-in-law, Pam of Paola and Jessica of Marion, IN; her sister-in-law Sharon Scherman of Paola; her grandchildren, Jennifer Kennedy (Dale) of Wellington, CO, Tony Thompson, Andrew Thompson and Jackie Dillon (Andrew) of Gardner, KS.; and her great grandchildren, Jared Kennedy, Alexis Kennedy of Wellington, CO and Murphy Dillon of Gardner, KS..

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Paola Cemetery (909 W Miami St, Paola, KS 66071).
