With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet E. Putzier (Paola, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wolf and Sue Wolf; her husband Valdean Putzier; and her siblings, Bobby, Liana, Larry and Kathy.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joan Wolf, Don (Patty) and Connie Ryan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dengel & Son Mortuary - Paola (305 N Pearl St, Paola, KS 66071). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (509 E Chippewa St, Paola, KS 66071). A burial will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (311 Baptiste Dr, Paola, KS 66071).
In lieu of flowers, the family, requests donations be made to My Father's House, an organization close to Jan's heart.
