He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Lee Claar and Norma Jeanne Hollingshad; his brother-in-law David Lorhan; and his niece Lauren Drew. He is survived by : his wife Julie Anne Lorhan; his daughters, Michelle Kaiser (Kelly), Paola, Jennifer Page (Billy) of Cumming, GA and Chelcia Cantu (Jesus); his grandchildren, Jesse Jr., Jessica, Kalli, Mason, Kale, Mia, Lydia and Lilly; his great grandchild Adalaya; his siblings, Dan Claar (Rose), Patrick Claar (Rita), David Claar, Kathy Chael (Rick) and Karen Halastik (Mark); and his siblings-in-law, John Lorhan (Linda), Michael Lorhan (Jane), Dan Lorhan, Doug Lorhan (Heidi), Karen Ritter (Howard), Lynda Ryan and Diane Drew (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
