He is survived by: his parents, Jack Slayman and Dee Slayman; his wife Melanie; his stepson Owen; and his brother Seth Slayman.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Birchard Funeral Home (203 Main St, Osawatomie, KS 66064). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Philp Neri Catholic Church (500 Parker Ave, Osawatomie, KS 66064). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
