She was predeceased by: her parents, George Prothe and Corrine Prothe; her husband Jim Stringham; and her son Bill Stringham. She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Giebler (Mike), Brenda Janzen (Martin), Rob Stringham, Shelli Barnes (Bill) and Steve Stringham (Jill); her sister Janet England; and her sisters-in-law, Janice Prothe and Venita Prothe. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Memorials are to First Lutheran Church or Brighton Hospice and can be sent in care of the funeral home, Dengel and Son Mortuary, 305 N. Pearl St., Paola, KS 66071.
