He was predeceased by: his wife Penny; his mother Waneta Bell; and his brother Danny Mingus. He is survived by: his children, Randy Mingus, Jr., Patricia Elizabeth Thomasson, Teresa Selk (Adam) and James Michael Mingus; and his siblings, Vicky Lindsey and Mark Mingus. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
