As Carolyn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carolyn leaves behind.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Clayton Dunlop (Charlie); and her children, Douglas C (Pam), Darin L (Teah) and Dierra (Pete Willey). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home (203 Main St, Osawatomie, KS 66064). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parker United Methodist Church (403 W Kimball St, Parker, KS 66072). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Parker Cemetery (1077 W 2000 Rd, Parker, KS 66072).
