She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Nickell and Ollie Mae Nickell (Bledsoe); her husband Wilbur Kennedy; and her brothers, Ralph Nickell, Gary Nickell and Kelly Nickell.
She is survived by: her children, David Davison (Christine), Penny Holloman (Melvin), Dawn Wendt (Matthew), Ida Trammell (Kenneth), Sarah Ball (Rob) and Amy Schaffer (Jeff); and her sisters, Phyllis Mundell and Sherry McCorkell. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
