We announce the death of Christa L. Sevart of Parsons, Kansas, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 73. Christa will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lee and Lorene Louise Knedgen (Burlingame); her husband Dana Sevart; her brother Vincent Lee Knedgen; and her brother-in-law Roger Sevart.
She is survived by: her sons, Jason P. Sevart (Carrie) of Farley and Joshua D. Sevart (Jordan) of Shawnee; her grandchildren, Jude, Nora, Quinn, Rowan and Trinity; her sisters, Patricia Wilkerson (Dale) of Owasso and Stephanie Tuggle (David) of Parsons; her siblings-in-law, Rusty Sevart (Iris) of Belton, Ron Sevart (Diane) of Raymore, Cheryl Burk (Leroy) of Thayer, Carrie Schmid (Ted) of Lorraine, Jackie Hudson (Neil) of Parsons, Janelle Weidert (Gary) of Parsons and Tammy Sevart of Wichita; Marian Johnson of Parsons. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A rosary was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home (405 Main St, Parsons, KS 67357). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (1807 Stevens Ave, Parsons, KS 67357).
