He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Hammon Allen and Genevieve Herring (Allen) of Virginia. He is survived by : his wife Norma; his daughters, Janet (Andrew) and Susan (Jon); his stepchildren, Brian and Melissa; his grandchildren, Ashley (Dan), Maddie, Andy, Kellan and Marin; and his stepgrandchildren, Justin and Caden.
