Kerr Sr. of Parsons, Kansas, born in Cherryvale, Kansas, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Marcus L. Kerr and Nancy D. Smith (Nickle); his stepfather Daniel R. Smith; his grandmother Lottie Nickle; his sister Christine Erbe; his brother-in-law Allen Erbe; and his grandson Bill Weldon.
He is survived by : his children, Linda Weldon (Pat) of Erie, John C. Kerr Jr. (Darleena Schlienz) of Broken Arrow and Kenneth L. Kerr (Cynda Lavender); and his half-sister Mary Alice Jones. He is also survived by five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
