She was predeceased by : her parents, John Forbes and Lelah Forbes (Gregg); her brother Mike Forbes; and her sisters-in-law, Frances and Carolyn Forbes.

She is survived by : her children, Melanie Sherwood (John) of La Harpe and Sean Westhoff of Parsons; her stepdaughters, Jennifer Payne of Parsons and Tiffany Payne of Parsons; her grandchild Kyle Leistikow (Monica) of Altoona, Kansas; her stepdaughters, Madison Cravens (Tyler) of Wichita, Kansas, Reece Minch of Parsons, Kansas, Ryleigh, Laney and Caden Forbes of Parsons; her brothers, Patrick Forbes of Pittsburg and John Forbes of Naples; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Forbes of Grove, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by Five great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Patrick Catholic Church Renovation Fund.
