Edson of Parsons, Kansas, born in Walnut, Kansas, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Eugene Richard and Mabel Richard (Purdon); her husband Larry Dean Edson; her daughter Anne Marie Babcock; and her sisters, Mary Ann Elbrader (George Stonerock), Pauline (Al Carpenter) and Margarette (Jim Eberhart).
She is survived by : her children, Don Babcock Richard (Judy) of Parsons, Ernest Babcock of Parsons, Cathy Swearengin (Roger) of Grove, OK and Linda Beavers (Art) of Wichita; her grandchildren, Darren Babcock (Nicole), Julie Babcock (Andy), Brian Swearengin (Leszli), Leigh Swearengin Harvey (Ben), Levi Bailey, Lynn Bailey, Lance Bailey, Michael Babcock (Emily), Melissa Babcock Brinkman (A. J.), Christopher Babcock and John Babcock; her great grandchildren, Arren (Destiny), Jena, Racie, Anna, Abbey, Dane, Boyd, Layla, Alba, Kade and Kendall; her sister Katherine Stonerock of Girard; and her brother-in-law Loyd Elbrader of Neosho, MO. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and a special daughter.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Patrick Catholic Church building fund.
