She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph F. "Joe" Maxwell and Ruby P. Maxwell (Coots); her children, Byron Bowen, Kevin Bowen and Ranetta Sue Daugherty; and her brother Ron Maxwell.

She is survived by : her son Gary Bowen of Burleson, TX. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Free Will Baptist Church.
