She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent A. W.; her daughter Tammy Ascanio; her granddaughter Gracie of Parsons; her sister Becky Cornell of Shawnee; her sibling's children, Max Cornell (Molly) and Sarah Grindel (Neil); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Isaac Cornell of Shawnee, Eleanor Cornell of Shawnee, Iris Cornell of Shawnee, Esther Cornell of Shawnee, Landon Grindel of Shawnee and Makenna Grindel of Shawnee.

Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church.
