As Susan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Susan leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nester Maijala and Helen Maijala (Osteroth).
Memorials are suggested to the Peabody American Legion and may be left in the care of Petersen Funeral Home in Newton, Kansas.
