He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlo W. Merritt and Mildred E. Merritt (Everitt); and his sister-in-law Charlotte Merritt. He is survived by: his brothers, Gary Merritt of Russell, KS, Kent Merritt (Michelle) of Parsons and Kurt Merritt (Bonnie) of Oswego. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
