He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Winters (James) and William Winters (Bill); his brothers, Billy and Leon; and his son Leslie Winters.

He is survived by: his children, Rebecka (Bernard Wetzel) of Charlotte, NC, Randi (Brandon Thummel) of Phillipsburg, Courtney (Justin Bandt) of Phillipsburg and Clinton Winters of Phillipsburg; his grandchildren, Jayden Renner, Carson, Brooklyn Beckman, Izzy Wetzel, Isaac Conway, Dominic Thummel, Haven, Kaylen, Peyton Winters, Ricky and Sophia Bandt; his great grandchildren, Maevery, Maddyn, Maxsten Renner and Leslie Thummel; and his sister-in-law Cathy Winters.
