Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gertrude Viola Redinger of Phillipsburg, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 87, on October 6, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Franklin and Sophrinia Muriel Jerby (Rowland); her husband Dwight Redinger; her daughter Debbie Ferguson; her siblings, Alfred, David Jerby, Bonnie Woods and Judy Craig; her children-in-law, Gary Calhoon, James Ferguson and Misty Redinger; and her great grandchild Angel Baby Calhoon.
She is survived by: her children, James Lee Redinger of Phillipsburg, Donny D. Redinger (Rachel) of Glade and Rhonda Calhoon of Glade; her grandchildren, Jason Calhoon, Devon, Sydnee, Bella and Briella Redinger; her great grandchildren, Jonathan Pirotte and Misty Redinger; and her grandsons, Josh Goscha and Scott Bruehahn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The lying in state will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel (1115 2nd St, Phillipsburg, KS 67661). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Phillips County Ministerial Alliance, for providing gas vouchers to people battling cancer.
