He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Smith and Beryl Smith (Snyder); his daughter Sheila Widener; his granddaughter Chassidy Widener; and his sister Johnita Chestnut.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Wise; his daughters, Teresa Lewis of Grinnell, KS and Robin Smith of Smith Center, KS; his grandchildren, Chad Widener (Tonya Keim), Hayden Lewis (Brittany), Connor Lewis (Katie) of Grinnell, KS, Jessica Chandler of Great Bend, Jeramy Brancroft (Brett) of Lincoln, NE and Taite Anderson (Lindsey) of Sabetha, KS.; his great grandchildren, Cash, Laine Widener, Gavin, Brigham Lewis, Michael, Jazmine Chandler, Matthias and Makelle Anderson; and his siblings, Carl of Logan, Bob of Norton, Rex of Longview, WA, Stan of Logan, Lucille Smith of Randle, WA and Kay Ferrer of Wichita, KS..
