He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Peterson and Ruby Peterson; his brothers, Melvin and Duane Peterson; and his son Marvin "Junior" Peterson.
He is survived by: his former wife Linda T. Calfy of Phillipsburg; his sister Marcella Carr Carothers of Cape Coral Florida; his children, Eric Dean Peterson (Jamie) of Grand Island and Mandi Lynn Peterson of Phillipsburg; his grandchildren, Haylee, Kenzie Peterson, Carter, Logan, Kaiden, Jocelynn Vincent and Triton Gwennap; and his great grandchildren, Rakai and Nevaeh Bell.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel (1115 2nd St, Phillipsburg, KS 67661).
