In the sacred silence of farewell, Barbara is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Barbara's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Saia and Josephine Saia; her husband Jerry James; and her brothers-in-law, Tom Barbieri and Ron Perkins.
She is survived by: her siblings, Brends K. Saia-Barbieri, Thomas V. Saia and Kathy Saia-Perkins. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Fund. Friends may drop off or mail memorials to Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 522 S. Broadway Pittsburg, KS 66762.
