He was predeceased by: his mother Debra "Debi" Ewing (Strait); his brother Michael J. "Joey" Ewing, Jr.; and his grandparents, Buel Ewing, Marguerite Ewing, Henry Owen Strait and Anna Strait.
He is survived by: his father Michael Ewing, Sr.; his wife Christine Stone-Ewing of Tacoma, WA; his brother Christopher Ewing (Amie) of Yelm, WA; his niece Lillian Elizabeth Ewing; and his nephew Bryon Michael Ewing.
