It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy K. Dewey of Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on March 3, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Billy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Billy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewey and Adaline Dewey (Stevens); and his sister Jackie Ristua. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dewey (Cochran); his children, Brenda Jagels (Doug Jagels) and Bryon Dewey (Kerry Dewey); his brothers, John Dewey (Mary Ann Dewey) and Donald Dewey; and his grandchildren, Sydney Jagels, Danny Dewey and Kathryn Dewey.
